Just Curious are there a lot of hunters on Grapevine or is it a overlooked lake due to its proximity to the metroplex. Wanting to scout during the split, but not wanting to waste my time! Any info or advise would be great.

Duck Slayer,
I have done well there before. Of course like every other lake around here it is low. Unfortunately at Grapevine, that really limits the hunting area for waterfowl hunting. Also, being so close to so much population usually means more pressure. It is not a hidden jewel if that was what you were thinking! I'd say go scout somewhere else.
