I installed the "Remote" on one of my feeders and they cost about $100. Installed quick and easy and has worked now for over 2 months. It took me about 10 minutes to install it with "The Timer".

On another feeder, I installed the remote from Wildgame Innovations that Academy sells for about $30 and it worked for about 2 weeks and took me about 20 minutes to install on the "Timer". (Note: If you have questions about install let me know since it has pinchers that I taped up to the harness off the motor.). I replaced the Wildgame Innovations with a new one from Academy and it worked right away after several tests. The antennna must have been bad on the one the first one I installed but at least the timmer still worked without a problem. I will post if I have any more problems with either of these units.

One thing to note is that the actual remote control is identical on both units and the wiring is very similar so I think the "Remote" just has a different antenna and housing and that is why I am giving the $30 one another try. If it breaks again I am done with it for good.

Cool!! Keep us up to date on the operation of these. I've thought about one so I can add more corn or keep the deer coming throughout the day (just don't have many deer at this lease).

Thanks for the up-date. I have been using Sweeney's remote on my two feeders for years with no issues. Good luck and Merry Christmas.
