I'm looking for someone that can train my dog to track wounded deer or has one for sell in the state of Texas. Any help would be great.

Most people that have an outstanding deer tracking dog will not sell them unless you toss in a house and new F250 in the mix.
You can train your dog pretty easy, could different books out there. Dragging hides and laying blood trails is pretty easy, just start short and work your way up but keep them spaced out maybe one a week.
Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure, than to take rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, b/c they know not victory nor defeat"- #26 TR

The Blue Lacy is an excellent choice for a blood trailing dog. Has many other uses too. Check some of the threads on the tracking subject out at the Texas Lacy Game Dog Association forum too. Best of luck. Jimbo

When I was a kid I had a lacy border collie cross that would track and tree anything. She was great for a boy that like to varmint hunt.
Tigger If it isn't white it is not a birddog.

United Blood Trackers just launched their new web site. It has lots of good information on training your tracking dog. Lots of articles and tips.
Headhog also sent you a pm about a dog.
