Im active duty at fort hood right now (Originaly from Lufkin texas) and my unit deploys to Iraq in late january of 2010.

It is very hard to find a good place to hunt around fort hood that doesnt have outrageous lease and trophy fees or that is guided.

My question is: Does anybody own some land or a lease within 75 miles of fort hood, that I would be able to come improve opon your property by exterminating some hogs for you at no cost?

I dont require food or shelter. I will bring a tent and some sandwiches if I have to. I will also respect you land and rules. I promise to you that all I kill will be prosseced and eaten. Im not wastefull.
I would like to get a good hunt In before I hit the Sandbox.

try db hunting ranch. he is about 40 miles south of you in bertram texas. think he is offering 80 dollar hog hunts if you book this week. i promise you will see hogs

If the hogs show back up on my place I will send you a pm. But so far they have been gone since hunting season started.

Since you are originally from the Lufkin area, would you be interested in hunting that area. I have a lease in Nacogdoches county that I would be glad to let a service man fixing to deploy come hunt after deer season is over. I have hogs and it wouldn't cost you a thing. I even have accomodations that I will throw in.

You can shoot as many as will fit in your cooler, truck whatever. They are tearing up the hay fields and the rancher wants them takin care of asap. let me know

im actually heading down to lufin today to spend christmas with my family.

hey shain how long have you lived in lufkin? I use to live there many years ago. still go "home" to nacogdoches several times a year to my farm.. thanks for all youre doing!! you rock brother!

well i was born and raised in lufkin. so i guess that would be 25 years.
i live at for hood (my army duty station), but i come back home alot. fort hood is only 4 hours away from lufkin. so i come home when ever there is a long weekend or a holiday.

Is this farm near Refugio. bigpig_slayer? I use to work just south of there in Rockport/ Fulton at the aransas county airport for the company I work for. I use to se hogs down in that area all the time, I live next door to FT. Hood. Army Vet
