well, for the first time ever, i been doing a some duck hunting this year. i have to say its pretty fun. i have got some nice birds and am taking a few to the taxi. today i got one with my bow though and have to say that was a total rush. good times!

That is awesome. I have thought about doing that. Did you use the sights or just wing shoot him? I would like to try that with a recurve.

it took me 4 shots before i got one. wasnt easy. but well worth it. i have a couple longbows, but i aint as good a shot with em. i am pretty good with the new monster. here the first 2 shots i ever took at animals with it

Very nice! That would make a cool flying or cupped mount with the arrow sticking through it! Tred Barta would be proud...

That's awesome! I was just reading through the regs again, and noticed that it's legal to use a crossbow as well  I think that would be a hell of a lot of fun.

Outstanding
I tried duck hunting several times with a bow many years ago, and though I had some close shots, I never connected.
I noticed too crossbows listed as legal in the current waterfowl digest. That would be a change as it was not before.

What kind of tips do you use? judo point from academy. i use em on varmints too. they r great because u wont lose your arrows if/when u miss.

Thats Awesome !!  I use to shoot grackles sp? at about 20 yards. Lost a lot of arrows cause they would go right through them and disapear in the foliage !  I started using flu flu arrows with a recurve but never really got good at it.
