I'm fixing to go on leave from 29 Palms, CA, and I've never taken the I-40 route...every time I've taken the 10. Has anyone gone through Flagstaff, Albuquerque, or Amarillo on the 40?

Sure, I've done it many times. It's an Interstate Hiway, just like all the others.

I was talking about mountain-wise. I checked the weather and it seems to be cooperating...I just wanted to know as much about anything I might need to know as possible.
