the goose hunts up north on the show are pretty unbelievable but the duck hunts are so so. they never shoot ducks "in ur face".

They seem to have a problem decoying ducks. They are always pass shooting. Anyone can pass shoot, I want to see how they get the ducks to land in the spread.
Also, seems like half of their hunts are from the same spot on the rice paddy reservoir.
The geese, they get the first wave to land and then shoot when the second wave comes in. That's cool.

Yeah, but it's still not my favorite. Maybe it's just the nightmares of all the Arkansas "duck hunters" blowing them like kazoos on public land. RNT is not a pleasant word to me.
I do love it when they get them in the trees. I think their main problem is camera man. When I watch the DC, his camera guy is looking at exactly what I would look at if I was there in person, some of these other shows, they're way zoomed out, of they focus on the wrong duck or something. It's just not the same. I'm not saying it's easy, I think that is the hardest job in the outdoor industry, running the cameras. Unfortunatly, it usually falls on somebody with a journalism or some other media degree, not someone with a hunting background, because the guys with the hunting background want to be holding the gun! I feel so bad for Phil's youngest son, Who knows the last time he's been able to shoot a duck, he's always running the camera. Haha. Rough life.

Only seen about 10 episodes and most of them were Spec hunting in the reservoir, an advertisement for Gator tails getting stuck in the swamp or hunting the rice fields in Missouri where they just pass shot huge flocks.
