so i'm building an extremely tight budget AR15 for my uncle. got just about everything ordered, but i'm trying to find a nicer grip than the stock one for it. i came across some "airsoft" grips on ebay for AR15 replicas. they're 1/5 the price of an actual grip...

I was wondering if they will fit?? some people have told me yes, some people say no. anyone on here every buy an Airsoft grip and slap it on their AR 15?

here's a link to the one in question... CLICK HERE

I don't care for the Houge. They tend to get sticky feeling after a while. I prefer the Magpil MOE or MIAD as well as the Tango Down grips.

+1 on the MIAD.

Not sure on the airsoft... but I bet it would work.

Agree %100 !! The Magpul gives a better feel while pulling the trigger because of the palm swell !! The ERGO would be my second choice.

I use the Ergo grips on all my ARs, but the Magpul grips are awesome as well. You can get the Ergo grips for less than $30. Also, the Ergo grips come in right-handed or ambidextrous. I am left-handed and the ambi grip is awesome. My brother has a right-handed one on his rifle and it is not real comfortable for me to shoot. Just something to keep in mind.

I don't think the airsoft grip will fit, but even if it does I would steer clear of anything for airsoft.

If you are on a tight budget, the Magpul MOE furniture can't be beat. Same grip as the MIAD without the replaceable fidly bits. Here's mine.
