Alright yall got a secret or some thing? I do all i know how to here in Florida to get hogs but they wont come to my feeder! Iv tried laying logs down an pouring diesel on it because they love to rub on it an the diesel smells good to them, iv put jell-o mix in the corn for the sweet smell that drives them crazy, put cool-aide in mud holes close by for the sweet smell to keep them coming back, tried soaking the corn in beer over night like a buddy, an even put coon urine here an there because they've been known to follow the scent to find free food like coons. But nothing! I always end up goin out after them to get one or going to a buddies feeder! Its so depressing cry lmao..... help me wtf

I've got a few questions for you. What signs have you seen to let you know they are in the area? What type of soil do you have? How big of area are you hunting?

Best method , settle in. an have one of the boys go up wind an take their boots off, Be prepared for some fast shootin, Get a creosote pole cut off, stand it,,Rest of your program sounds ok,Set the feeder off when you get there, noise works occasionaly. Put a little diesal on the corn if pouring out,or troughin,

Get you a Mini-Sniper hog light and sit all night.

I work hard, drink a little and hunt when I can.

Theres a big mud wallow near by that is regularly used, theres hair all over a part of the barbed wire fence where they come through, theres good size uprooting all over an recent ones like 100 yards from my feeder. Iv hunted them before but this is my first time using my own feeder. AN as for soil....we dont have soil, this is florida we live in a massive sand box haha. im only hunting bout 30 acres but iv hunted it before an always get atleast two hogs when i stalk but they just dont seem to like the feeder. iv been out there the past 2 weekends all night friday an saturday night coffee an nothing. i set up my lights an a stand 35 yards from the feeder an they dont even come close. Its drivin me crazy bang

I don't know what to tell you about the sand. Instead of digging holes, you might want to make the same mixture and just leave it sitting in a bucket (with game camera near by). The soil on our property is got a lot of clay in it. When I dig holes and fill with corn and jello it holds water for a day or two. I come back and add water every couple of days if nothing has hit the hole. I always put these holes near active trails, like you said you have seen. I've had them hit the holes within 24 hours, and it has taken as long as two weeks for them to find one. Pigs do travel, so you just have to luck out and be there when they are. With you hunting 30 acres, i'm sure they feel pressure.

Try spreading the corn around a little so they know it's there. But usually, if there's corn around, they'll find it and come.

Try keeping them out. Cuss because you have too many and get mad when they scare away your deer. That seems to make them want to come to a feeder more.

Why not hunt the barbwire fence that is holding hair. I would clean all hair out. Then check it to make sure it is active. Then hunt it. If they wont come to you go to them. They may have something in the area that they like eating better than corn.
