I wish I could have gotten in on the THF hunt and get together, but I was too late and can't hunt this Sunday.

My usual hunting partners can't go on Saturday, so I was wondering if anyone might want to join forces. I have a few spots on a large public lake in the DFW area - nothing secret, just places to hunt. Also, I'm still learning (so I don't have a ton to offer, now that I think about it...), but if anyone else doesn't want to hunt alone, I'd be happy to meet some of yall.

I find it awesome that you guys although, we like to keep our honey holes secret, are willing to join forces and have a great time hunting.

Hey no better way to see if you have learned anything, just get out there and do it. As the old saying goes, a bad day hunting is better than a good day (insert whatever you like)...

That implies that we have honey holes! Just kidding - none of the places I have are secrets, some more obvious and crowded than others, but I wouldn't call any of them honey holes.

We'll get something figured out this weekend, though - hopefully get to exercise the guns a bit and maybe get lucky enough to get a duck or two. Only one way to find out.

And I should have mention - the spots I have in mind require the annual public hunting permit...they also tend to require varying degrees of getting-out-there-early-to-get-the-spot
