Yes, we see deer everyday. The rut has slowed down a good bit, but there is still some chasing going on. It was cold all day today, when the weather breaks there should be a lot of activity.Good luck and welcome to the THF.

My buddies still hunting there said its been the worst year they have ever seen at the Herring Ranch off Klatenhoff Rd. They wanted me to ask you how the deer where on your side of the ranch?

I hunt on the otherside of Harring ranch. It has been slow for us well with all the sheep. seemed like it was picking up this past weekend. I hope it does.

Longhunter, thanks for the update. Once a year a buddy of mine invites me out there to hunt his place. I hunt Erath and Palo Pinto counties the rest of the season. Our rut and chasing activity is pretty much over. I am excited to get back out to Miles, we had a good time last year.

Jbennett, I honestly don't know the name of the place. I hunted there last year for one weekend and only remember it is a couple miles north of Miles.
