I have many guns but the only rifle I use for my serious deer hunting is a custom rifle on a Remington action chambered in 30-06.
If I'm toting that one around I'm out to kill something.

Rem sendero in 270 win with leupold 3-9 vxII shooting 150 gr hornady interlock

I've carried several Browning Abolts and Remmy 700s & and wby vanguard to the stand with me this season, but honestly, I'm not shooting anything this season, rifle seems to be an additional brace in the corner of the stand.

Vanguard in 270WSM topped with a Sightron SII 3-9x42mm. Federal Fusion 150gr. Fourth year with this rifle. Many hogs a few does and finally a shooter buck this year. Primary hog rifle is a Norinco SKS with TechSight TS200.

Savage 110 in 25/06 with a Simmons 3X9. planning on getting a Nikon Monarch for it by next season.
It's a tack-driver with the Hornady 116 gr BTSP loads. Can't wait to try it out on antelope....
