alright here's the deal. i'm currently a marine stationed at 29 palms, ca. it's pretty gay here...i'm originally from collinsville, tx, but own a house in sherman. i've got 6 months left until i get out. i'll be getting home december 16th on leave and am trying to squeeze in a couple deer hunts. it's been almost ten years since i've been deer hunting...i'm going to try the public land in fannin county and some of the surrounding areas that are public in the counties surround grayson. any info/tips would be greatly appreciated because i know i'm rusty. i don't expect to get much this year since i'm not able to put in much time, but whatever you can help with would be great. thanks.

Hey obryankl. I saw a post on here somewhere, I guy was sellin Doe hunts for $100 a day, no limit. It sounded like a deal to me. There was someone on there that went and him and his son both got Does. They could have shot more, but that's all they wanted. Worth a look. I'll try to fing the post and I'll put it on here for ya.

I have a week of vacation left, starting Dec.14. I will be going to hunt the public land in Fannin county, if you want to hook up during that time. I've been shown a couple of pretty good spots by a local guy that hunts around there a lot, plus I've scouted out a couple of promising spots on my own. PM me if interested... I ain't the deer whisperer by any stretch of the imagination, but it's better than going in blind.(maybe, lol)
