I was wrong yesterday when I stated 4 1/2 and 140 BC. Sorry but it was hard to judge on my motorola razr v3 with one inch by 1 1/2 inch screen. I could not even see the coons in the last pic. Now I am on a 16 inch screen on laptop and say that big boy is 4 1/2 to 6 1/2 yrs and is between 155 and 174 BC. I did not want to offend anyone.

Well guys hes been there every night for the last four days!!! Got a pic of him 5 minutes before I was in the stand! Soo I am sure hoping he messes up!!! You will be the first to see! I have never hunted a buck this size and especially on a 30acre low fence that is free. I made a phone call to this guy with hopes of shooting a doe with my bow and hes allowed me total access from here on...

No rattling the bucks are grouped up already! Ruts over! Ive grunted very little and just keep still and glassing the brush! Hes completely noctornal but been close to daybreak a couple of times. If I can figure out wich way hes leaving to bed I can hunt closer to there and maybe get a daylight shot if I just stay away from my corn. I have no feeder and just put corn out every two days and I tell you without doubt works way better than a feeder!!!!

Good luck man, I hope you get him. Try using an estrous bleat as soon as it's light enough to shoot. Hopefully he will think it's a late breeder, or a doe that didn't get covered in primary if he's still close enough to hear...May be your best shot at him making a mistake.

That coon looks like he's 5.5 yrs and 45lb. You sure your not next to the Air Force base where they dumped all that Toxic waste?

That last buck is a huge Mossy Back Sad Daddy! He looks 6.5 all day and well over 170". I would say he is more like a 180"-185”, that looks like a honey hole. I would be there every chance you had to get that hoss!

I agree on his age and also believe he'll bust 170 but don't know if he'll get to 180 due to short brows. But, you could be right as this deer has a tremendous frame and great beams! If I had a deer like that coming in I'd be in that stand at least an hour before 1st shooting light everyday that the wind was right to hunt that stand!!!!!

There's only 2 places in Tarrant that will hold bucks like that....too bad you have to either know somebody or be really really lucky. I hope you get one of them.
