ive been mulling a 300 win mag build and i was curious if any of you guys knew who was good to use. also looking for a gunsmith that doesnt have a 18 month wait on a rifle build. i have a predator action on my 308 and it seems to work. i guess im just unsure of who else is out there.

I undertand that you might just want to have a rifle built, but if you are just looking for a incredibly accurate rifle and don't want to wait a long time...then take a look at the Remington 5-r Milspec model 700 in 300 Win Mag...it comes with an adjustable trigger, HS Precision Stock...and shoots incredibly well...1/2" groups at 100yds out of the box with a good scope...do some research online and you will see what I'm talking about. You will need to get a gun dealer to order it or buy it off GunBroker. You will not see it listed Remington's site. You can get one off GunBroker for $995. I've seen one and it does everything that a custom rifle can do.
