yeah my wife allready knew what was coming when i came home today,she was like you staying home for atleast dinner right.

yeah my wife allready knew what was coming when i came home today,she was like you staying home for atleast dinner right. pretty cool when the women understand us. Mine asked as we were leaving lowes (the front hit while we were shopping) "uh, oh, don't you wish you were in the stand now?"

Just finished a week of vacation that was meant to be a week of hunting. I did go out 4 days, but just don't get real motivated when I'm sweating in the stand. The mornings were okay, but the afternoons were better suited for golf.
Do have to give my wife some credit. Tonight after dinner she asked if I was going to extend my "vacation" a day and head out to hunt tomorrow. Wish it was an option, but I may spend tomorrow clearing my calender for Wednesday.

Got to hunt the first half of Thanksgiving break while it was nice and hot. Went on "vacation" to visit family.. was a good bit colder while I was gone. When I got back Saturday and was able to hunt Sunday, of course, it was 70+..
Now that I have to go back to class the temperature drops into the 30s..figures.
Hunted 11 times during the break, saw 0 deer, the 150 or so pics on the feeder are at night and they are starting to hit the foodplot.

deer were moving a bit sunday before the front, but it was too damn windy. should be good the next week or so.

It was a little chilly at our lease Friday afternoon and Saturday morning and with the full moon the deer moved predictably late. We fared ok, thankfully. My dad popped a nice 9 point and I scored on two does.
