Looking for a pair of gloves and wanted to know what's what everyone using. See there's decoy gloves and shooting gloves. Looking fir a good pair that is the best overall. Does everyone use thick gloves or thin with a muff for warmth? Please include a link. Thanks

If I wear gloves I like the flip top mittens because I hate my shooting finger being in a glove. They're pretty cheap and I think you can find them just about anywhere. However, I usually don't wear 'em...mainly because I lose them.

These are the best I have found.

Cabelas gloves

I think they might be the best "overall" glove. I like the fact you can get them on if your hands are a little damp. I have had other gloves in the past that if your fingers were damp or sweaty, it's a wrestling match trying to get them on.

Cabelas has lost their mind though on the cost. These gloves were $29.99 a year or two ago. $50 a pair is kinda high

Don't waste your money on anything but Youngstown gloves.

Google them and look at their winter line camo version, they stay dry and are warm. I ended up buying them for Christmas gifts for everyone on the lease.

Your hands will stay dry no matter how wet the outside gets.

Funny you mention this because I just bought a pair of neoprene gloves this evening for messing with the dekes. I wear a pair of UnderArmour gloves while hunting. They are thin enough that putting your hands in the your waders if it is cold will suffice.

Good luck, there isn't a perfect glove out there in my opinion. Glacier Gloves I have always heard good things about but I haven't dropped the coin on them....yet wink

hands down the best gloves I've ever used, kept my hands warm when it was 10 degrees and they were frozen.

I use these gloves while I'm fishing. You can do anything with them, I throw a throw net and bait hooks without a problem. They are constructed out of pvc and are 100% waterproof. They are the same gloves the crabfishermen ware on the Deadliest Catch. Best gloves I've found for working in the water. It sucks they are blue though. I bet you could spray paint them or dye them. It would be worth a try for $5 a pair.

I have two pairs of gloves in my bag.

I used my decoy gloves when I'm walking out and putting out my spread.

And when it's time to settle in and hunt, I wear a pair of cheap fleece gloves (the kind that bow hunters wear) Mainly just to conceal my hands, but they are nice because you can shoot with them no sweat. And they do keep your hands warm.
