3000 acres in Stephens County not hunted in last four years. Day hunts or weekend hunts available for this season only next year it will be leased out. Wanting to run some weekend hunts to help manage the property. This is a great oppurtunity to get a chance to shoot a big buck for cheap. Finally got some game cameras working going to try to get them out there this weekend, so there will be pics coming soon. Day hunt $200 per day for doe and spike $500 for buck under 120 $1000 for 120-150 $1200 for 150 and over This is low fence property with a lot of deer. Right now there are three feeders currently going. Will corn roads if we have a date set up with someone coming, lots of country to rattle or whatever you prefer. Hogs are included in all the hunts for no extra charge. No trophy or guide fees just needing to get some hunters to shoot some deer for management. This deer was found in the tank yesteday while checking feeders. Must have been shot by the neighbors and never found.

Quail hunting is like walking into, and out of a beautiful painting all day long. Gene Hill

What are the odds of seeing a 150 class animal? Have you seen any that may score that high? Thanks.

This week is open and looking like great hunting weather if anyone is interested. You could have your choice of the whole place this week so far.

I hunted this lease on Saturday and Sunday. Here is my feedback. The pics are from Saturday. My Sunday pics didn't work, camera is on the blink. I met with Will on Friday to look the place over. I was very pleased with the assistance and time Will took to show me around. He is a super nice guy and we spent several hours touring the ranch. Saturday found me in the blind watching one of the three feeders set up. I had deer coming in all morning. Most were young, small deer. With the moon being nearly full and the warm weather, the numbers were better than I expected. Nothing was a shooter in my book on the first morning. Saturday evening I sat in blind looking over another feeder and only had three deer come to the feeder. The old cull in the pictures came in on the evening stand. Sunday morning I sat overlooking a slope where deer were thought to be coming from the neighbors wheat field to bed on the hill. I saw no deer while sitting, but had I sat there longer I would have. I pushed deer out of there when I walked back through the area an hour later. My impatience cost me an opportunity there. I did see one hog but didn't get a shot. I walked several areas during the mid-day and pushed many deer ahead of me, but had no shots. For Sunday evening, I sat in the same blind that I sat in Saturday morning. One decent buck came in briefly and then left. I shot the next two does that came to the stand and loaded up for home as I had a two hour drive. All in all, if I get a chance to go back I will for sure. Will is a great guy, there are a lot of deer, and the ranch is beautiful. I have no doubt there are some big bucks on the ranch, I just didn't meet up with them. There were TONS of coyote tracks. You varmint hunters should take them up on their varmint hunts! Couple of young guys at the feeder. Nice young buck with one side broke off. A mature cull that came in but I wasn't sure if he was legal to take per AR. He had one little point coming off of the left beam that may have been counted as a second point, I couldn't tell for sure. This was the first time I hunted with antler restrictions so I was probably overly cautious but I would rather be safe than sorry. Fall colors on the ranch.
