When I got home yesterday a bag of full-bodied mallard decoys, a half-dozen or so, was missing from my boat. I always trailer the boat home with the decoys, two bags of full-bodied and a dozen or so floaters, in the boat. All I can imagine is that they flew out and ended up on the side of I-35. The cost of gas and other hunting expenses just jumped $35 or so!

I feel your pain. About three years ago I lost close to a 3 dozen G&H super magnums (100 bucks for 6) and a couple dozen G&H magnums on the way to a boat ramp at Fork. By the time I realized they were gone and turned around to pick them up, somebody already had snagged them. Talk about an expensive hunting trip, losing an $800 bag of decoys.

I live south of Fort Worth so the drive up and back would add another $30 in gas to the cost. Somebody snagged them, I'm sure, and they have something else to be thankful for tomorrow!

I have never lost a decoy I didn't like. It's always the good ones.

i was ridin with ducknbass in his truck and my dozen GHG full bodies caught wind in the boat and I got so lucky. Only ended up losing 5 stakes thanks to some quick maneuvering at the wheel by DNB.
I ride em in the truckbed or bungeed down now.
