Which one and why or maybe another one? I am looking for FRONT pocket carry gun only. I dont want to wear a holster.

Thanks for your input!

I'd look at either a S&W 642 or 442 or a Kahr PM9 instead. But, that's just me.

I have Keltec P32, it weighs only 11oz loaded. And in reality, a 32 ACP hollowpoint will change anyones mind, plus the P32 holds 8 rounds 7 in mag, 1 chambered. I also have a XD 45 compact, but that is more of a winter carry gun. The P32 can go with any pants or shorts with no problem of being concealed.

Both are pretty good. I like the fit and finish on the LCP but as far as function the same. i carry a KT 380.

I have both. The LCP is more refined and has a manual slide hold open. They are essentially the same gun though. I shoot better with the Kel-Tec and I like the hard chromed finish that is available. Really, you can't go wrong with either.

A 442 for front pocket carry? You must wear pants like this...........

LOL...I originally thought about the 442 or 642 for front pocket carry but it may be a bit much plus they are pushing $400 to $500. I have seen alot of people on here carry Keltecs and wondered about them. People that carry/shoot them see to like them and they are very resonable on price as well. I just want something I can slip in my short or pant front pocket and go; not having to worry about printing or it falling on the floor!

Keep the ideas and thoughts coming...

Brandon

The Kel-Tec or LCP both require practice to become proficient. I can routinely hit an 8.5" X 11" sheet of paper at 10 yards with either .

I know the LCP is limited to .380 but not the Keltec. If that is what I go with, what caliber is suggested now? I believe they make a 9mm as well...

I like the P32, the gun itself is smaller"thinner" than the Keltec .380. I have shot both, both shoot good. Also the 9mm Keltec is a whole lot bigger than the others.

what about the Bersa? Still too big in size for pocket carry?

I think it is. Wieght is just as important as size. The Bersa Thunder is little heavy and still big too. it's not something you want in your pocket all the time.

I carry a Kahr p380 which is $$$. Sig just came out with a pocket 380 that is pretty small as well.
I have a keltec and the Kahr. The Kahr shoots much better and is more comfortable. For the money go with the kel teck or lcp

Kahr trigger reset is too far foward for rapid follow up shots with a combat shooter like myself...it just plain sucks.

My one and only Keltec blew apart on my second magazine blowing the hammer and some other parts off with S&B 32 ammo. You could not give me another.

The LCP is much better than Keltec and cheap enough to seriously consider one for each pocket for when one fails.

Hopefully, you are single because love for your family ain't a cheap weapon.

Merry Christmas fellas

There are plenty or great handguns out there. Many would make great concealed carry weapons. But, I know how I am. If its a little big, and a little heavy, there will be days I just dont carry it depending on where Im going or what Im wearing. I have a Keltec P32 with the pocketclip and a desansis nemasis pocket holster. I have it with me at all times. Its the first thing I put in my pocket. No matter what Im wearing. You can not tell its there, and most importantly, no one else can tell. You can just drop it in your pocket and forget it, or clip it on your waist line or clip it in your pocket like a knife if you have a long shirt on. Its not heavy. As for accuracy, it takes practice. Kind of shoots like a snub nose revolver. Its a close up gun. But, I really like it and havent had any issues with it.

I picked up an LCP 2 weeks ago. I was going to get a KelTec but Bachman had the LCP on sale for the same price. I've run 4 different ammo brands through the LCP with no issues for what it is worth.

I have had a LCP for over a year now and never had a malfunction and it shoots great!! I highly recommend the LCP.

I had a Kel tec .380.. It was fine but I bought the Ruger LCP recently as the fit and finish seemed nicer. Not a lot of difference with function.

Did you send your kaboomed Kel-Tec back to the factory? They will replace it for free. Have you ever actually fired an LCP?

I have sold about 15 Ruger LCP's to officers at my PD. They all have to qualify out to 15 yards wwith them in order to carry them as a backup gun. the rangemaster told me yesterday taht none of the 15 have jammed or failed to feed or frailed to eject. most score a 100 on the qualification and the rest in the 90% range. everybody is happy with them.
I sell them the same day I get a shipment in. LCP are very popular.

That stinks that happened, Thats why you don't buy cheap ammo. Buy the good stuff and you don't have to worry if the gun will blow up. Another thing is that 32 auto ammo is not the same as European 32 ammo, it's not even called the same thing over there. People buy it thinking, "it's close enough" well it's not.

I have owned the Kel tec 380 and sold it and bought a PF9 9mm. The PF9 shots much better than the 380 but I wish I would have kept the 380 because of the size. It was so easy to just stick it in your pocket. The 9mm is Ok, but is almost to large for a pocket gun.
