Headed back to where I left off before I headed south... Kelly met me at the House at 4:30 and off we went! Great to see Mallards droppin in through the pecan trees and landin' in the decoys!!!!  Ended a few short of a limit...but Nothin wrong with groups and pairs of Mallards feet down hoverin' at 10 yards!!!!!  J.J. Bo and me with the birds:

Good shootin!
Seeing this reminds me of something a friend of mine told me this morning at work. We aren't seeing hardly any ducks on the Barney, but he is deer hunting on private property (a lease) in one of the river bottoms that feeds it and he says he is seeing tons of ducks. I just wish I had access to some river bottom land so I would have some back water to hunt.
