Does anybody know whats up with the flooded land off 175 jus east of the fm 1389 exit in seagoville? I passed it back in the summer and saw the potential of it. I asked my girlfriends mom who lives in Combine she said it was for fresh water and she heard that they were going to allow hunting on it. Havnt been able to find any info and passed again the other day coming from gun barrel. Had some birds on it but im sure it will covered after the first good cold front.

They had a youth hunt there. We missed it because my youngest one was sick, but I heard that the 8 youth that showed up had a blast with lots of ducks.

Yeah, invite only...However, there are lots of ponds in the areas around there that hold some serious numbers of birds. Go knock on some doors...there's also lots of properties for sale in the area.
I'm hunting north east of them about 2 miles in the morning.
