Had one of the piddlers at the prison put it together for me, total cost was 25 bucks, 20 for the mount and 5 for the plate that says December 2008, Navarro County.

Forgot to add,

13pt, 2 points had broken off, so technically it's now an 11pt...10" inside, 15" outside

I work at Coffield Prison, the 'good' inmates(used loosely) that have enough money on their books can work in the craftshop to make extra cash for themselves via making stuff for the officers.

I don't know all the details of how they get to work in the craft shop, but a lot of those guys are really talented. I know they have to be good and not cause any problems to get the chance to work there.

I'm sure the inmate that made this could make as many of the Texas plaques as anyone could want. If ya'll are interested I'll talk with him and see how much for how many and send a IOC to the Warden and make sure it's all kosher to cover my butt.

That looks like a great mount. Even the cap looks good on it.

Well, what I mean by that, sir, is... if you was to put me and this here sniper rifle anywhere up to and including one mile of Adolf Hitler with a clear line of sight, sir... pack your bags, fellas, war's over. Amen.--SPR[image]

I caught up with the inmate yesterday, he said he could make just the plaque similar to the one in the pic for 18 bucks each.

He also mentioned that he also makes an arrowhead plaque done the same way and it looks like it's chipped out and looks kind of like an actual arrowhead.
