I voted PM but only due to the fact that I go hunt more in the afternoon then in the mornings. Just about gave up on the morning hunts due to hardly ever seeing anything. I shot two nice bucks (wall hangers) in my lifetime and both were afternoon/evening hunts.

I went with PM because that has been the latest pattern. However, we all know that changes. If you're not there, you won't know.

Lately, I've seen the majority of deer movement between 10:30am and 2pm. Mid Day wasn't an option, but since I see most of those before noon, I voted am.

my two best bucks were late morning bucks, one in South Texas the other in the hill country

AM for us.... though we see plenty of deer in the PM a lot of times when they come out it is too dark to ID them.

Most total deer is definitely afternoons. Most mature bucks (by a wide margin) is definitely mornings.

ABout 7-8:30am. Haven't seen anything but coyotes outside of that time.

See more on feeders in the morning, and more on wheat in the evening

This year at our place the deer we were seeing were mainly in the evening but, I chose to hunt midday between 11 & 2 and then take a break and go back on stand at 4. during the rut it really worked out well saw deer i had no idea were out there.

lately though, the only deer i've seen have been pictures.

I voted am for this year but in years past evenings have been better by far.

Voted for the PM, simply have never killed any deer in the mornings, although it would make life a lot easier skinning and cleaning in the daylight. But this year I have seen few on both watches, except for pics from THF

I think the PM. The deer have been beded up all day and ready to get out and eat. Some time they get out in the afternoon and then dusk. I am not a big fan of hunting in the morning but do it.

My old man allways says.. The biggest deer are killed when everyone is at camp taking a nap during the middle of the day!

And ive been seeing deer both in the morning and evening!

I have been hunting 10 years and have killed 28 deer in 6 states: 14 bucks, 14 does (I am really proud of the balance between bucks and does).

2 in Virginia
8 in Georgia
6 in Texas
4 in Kentucky
4 in Tennessee
4 in Kansas

13 on public land, 15 private land and no high fences

5 were bow kills (1 PSE Nova, 4 Mathews FX)
3 were taken with a .243 (Remington Model 700)
8 taken with a .30-06 (Browning A-Bolt)
8 taken with a 12 ga slug (Remington Model 870)
2 taken with a muzzleloader (Savage 10ML-II)
2 taken with a 20 ga slug (Encore Pro Hunter)

7 were taken on morning hunts
1 during the afternoon (1:30 pm)
20 during evening hunts (guess what gets my vote?)

It changes from day to day.

I saw a nice 6 or 8 point mule chasing a doe and then a monster 10 whitetail at about 8:30

new lease but a.m. so far . at least the nicest was a.m.

I've been seeing deer more often during the morning hours. I've also seen more deer during warmer temperatures just before cold fronts. It was 60 degrees when I left the camp yesterday morning and saw a total of seven deer (2 bucks, 5 doe) with a little drizzle. This morning it was 31 degrees and clear with a light frost when I left and I only saw a doe and yearling before leaving at 10am.
