Thanks

We put some cane inside against the back wall of the blind.

8-sheets of plywood
Bunch of scrap 2 x 4, 2 x 6 and some 2x 12 for the bench. We just hammered the 2 x 4's into the mud. We just built a box and wired brush on it and painted the plywood with some gray/green paint and brushed it up with willow and cane.
It will hunt up six guys.

Take'um

I wouldn't use that much wood but that is the basic ideal as far as the design. Use cattle panel or hog wire to wrap around the blind. Make sure it is the fencing that has wide spacing (not like chicken wire) between the wires so you can weave in whatever vegetation is natural to the area that you hunt.

I think you need to build it appropriate to the place it is going.

Design could change a lot based on location.

LK, got your PM, I used the Dr Duck Blind, below is the designed I followed:

Here is the link.

http://www.missourioutback.com/Stories/lesson3.html

I did my blind a little different here and there. My blind is 6 ft x 12 ft. The floor is in 3 sections, each section is 6 ft x 4ft, below is a pic of 1 floor section upside down, 1 inch treated plywood famed with 2x6’s.

Here is a pic with all the floor sections completed and right side up.

The rest of the blind I used 1/2 inch treated plywood and 2 x 4s, other pics..

I hung the walls half inch over the foundation, so water drains off better...

I gave the roof an over hang, so water does not run down the walls..

Here are the side doors, I framed them with 2 x 2s, but if I had a do over I would stick with 2 x 4s..

I got mine from a neighbor that has a lot of palm trees, and I picked them up after they pruned their trees.
