Wanted to check and see if anyone has done any good in coryell county this year. Its been slow at our place close to mother neff state park. Seem to be fewer deer in numbers and only seeing smaller bucks. Even the hogs seem to have moved out.

Nothing has moved out, still alot of acorns around and little fresh greens everywhere. They don't have to move if they don't want to.
I live in the next county over.

We are in the eastern part of the county. Very very slow up to Friday night. Friday night/Saturday were fantastic lots of deer. Movement all day. Sunday morning slow due to heavy fog. Sunday night my son had constant movement on his side of the place... nothing on my side. Strange season.

They are not hitting my feeder at all. The stand that usually has the most activity still has water standing all over from all the rain. Two other feeders that we usually have pretty good luck at no one has seen a deer at and we havent even got a game cam pic of a deer yet. Maybe its just slow all over the area right now.

Extremely slow in Williamson county not far from Coryell. Just can't get the big bucks to come to the feeder. Heck can't even get the does to come out. Very frustrating.

I hunt by the lake in western Bell county, been a crazy year for me too. The deer are just not moving as much. Have seen some nice bucks but it few and far between and just not seeing numbers like usual. Maybe Thanksgiving weekend.

I'm in western Lampasas Co, near Copperas Cove. I'm getting plenty does and small bucks in the feeders and corned senderos, but the big bucks have generally done a disappearing act. Lots of movement all day last Friday during the rain.

Our place in northern Coryell County is seeing the same as yall. Young does and bucks moving around a good bit. We aren't seeing a lot of mature deer - does or bucks - at the feeders right now. Too many other options for them to eat.

I've seen a few each hunt near Topsey. I took a 10 point opening weekend, bro-in-law took a doe last weekend. It's funny that the does really aren't hitting the feeders, but the young bucks are hitting them. I watched a 6 and an 8 last weekend for over 30 minutes eating from the feeder.
All of the deer are liking the oats, and they all like the horse & mule feed we've used to chum the edges of the food plots.
