I have a nephew that wants to duck hunt. He's been a couple of times in the past couple of years with a friend and his dad, but I want to get him out more. His dad deer hunts, but is not much or a waterfowler. With all the water this year, there is more standing in the water hunting than standing on the bank hunting. I would like to see if someone on here has a pair of used waders that they don't need anymore. I obviously don't mind paying for them, but I'd rather buy used since he will probably not be able to wear them after this year. Send me a PM or post here if you have a pair or know someone that has a pair they would be willing to sell in the DFW Area. My nephew wears a size 9-9.5 shoe. Thanks in advance for any help that anyone might be able to lend. BASSHAWK

You ain't lyin'. I looked like Santa Claus for quite a while in my Dad's old waders.

If you're looking to go cheap get some of the neoprenes that academy sells. I think my gf's were like 54 bucks and they're holding up suprisingly well.

Academy also has some hip boots that are a lot less expensive than waders though obviously not as versatile.

Did you see the sales on the coleman waders put up here 2 weeks ago? I think they were made by Hodgeman. If you can't find a combination boot and height that fits don't forget to try the women's side. He might get into one of those easier.

Good Luck
