Opening weekend saw a lot small 8 and ten pointers and plenty of does but did not pull the trigger. Heading out Friday and hunting till sunday. Maybe some bigger ones will be moving with the rut starting.

Where about in Runnels? Thats where I hunt....We are not seeing anything.
Talked to the folks at B&B feed and little has been brought in. headed down there in a couple of days. hunting buddy did mention he saw a 6 point chasing does monday night... so we believe the rut is on.

Live in Runnels... Hunt in Coleman and Tom Green. Haven't had much luck at the feeders yet. Having to work for it right know. Colder weather should help...Maybe make them more visible in the day time.

My buddy and I hunted for 8 straight days and did not see much. VERY slow there but I am hoping that Tuesday's rain/snow might kick something off.
We saw deer but NONE came to the feeders and rattling didn't work either.
