MY FRIEND IS GIVING ME A LAB HIS 9 MOTHS BUT MY WIFE DONT WANT A BIG DOG AND MY FRIEND HAVE TO GIVE HIM UP CUASE HE NOT TRAINAND HIS TARING THE BACK YARD UP CAN YOU STILL TRAIN HIM ON 9 MOTHS.

Yes, you can still train them.
Working with the dog every day will help the dog use his energy in a positive way and the amount of destruction should decrease.
