I have been posting alot about hunting near Caradan in northern Mills County. Through this forum I have found atleast 5 other hunters that also hunt in the Caradan area. I have received 3 PM's about meet and greets. Caradan is such a small town...we have to be close together.

Send me an email with your phone number and if you plan to be there before deer season starts. I plan to be there Saturday 10/17...probably more before the season starts too.

He is referring to what we call Toddy House road, years ago if you take the CO road back to 16, the Toddy House was on the corner of 16 and that CO road.

I got all of my work done this weekend and dont plan to go back till the gun opener.

TxAggie is trying to set something up and I think it would be a great idea to get together and meet.

So anyone that wants to have a meet and greet then ship the info to TxAggie.

Im sure we will all be around this weekend. I have spoken with the following:

jackh
krs_2007
mossyoakman
texkbc
matthewsdxt18

I have phone numbers for jackh, krs_2007, and texkbc. Im pretty sure matthewsdxt18 hunts with krs_2007 and mossyoakman hunts with texkbc. If that is not correct, yall send me some phone numbers.

I have seen more Caradan area hunters on the forum...or other hunters close by. If anyone wants to join us, send me a PM with your phone number.

When do yall want to get together? I will be around Caradan to hunt Saturday afternoon, sunday morning, and probably sunday afternoon. I will be 30 minutes away saturday morning so im available just about anytime. Somebody make a suggestion and we'll do it.

Where do yall want to meet? We can meet in the bar ditch by my place unless someone has a better suggestion. I have also thought about Mount Olive Baptist Church. It's close and there is parking for a few trucks off the highway....hopefully won't draw too much attention from the game warden, but I have nothing to hide anyway. Maybe it would be better if we all met the game warden together.

Yall make a suggestion on the time and place....i'll be there.

Update, looks like I will be there. Not sure where the Church is, but I would be game to meeting in the bar ditch off the hardtop. Send me or post the actual location, or give me a call on Saturday. I am game for the evening or after the night hunt and mathewsdxt18 is my nephew so he will be with me as well as his father and my 2 boys.

Phil,

Did you decide on a time and place? I should be out there all weekend.

texkbc, above he said his place at 575 and CR 232, he was going to call us, not sure if it will be before the afternoon hunt or after, I bet it will be after. Hopefully he will see this and know to call you on Saturday.
