We have a walk in cooler, so we are going to hang'em and start drinkin. Worry about quartering the next day.

We won't shoot anything but by the off chance that there is one stupid one (hunter not deer) we will quarter and ice.

You going to quarter and ice your quarry or carry them to freezer??? I will gut it, throw it in the back of the truck and head for the local processor! Should be able to pull it off from gut to freezer in less than an hour!

Gut it and hang in the handy Coke machine We did that until someone had the bright idea to coat hog parts with salt and hang. The resulting drippings killed the machine so we are back to quartering and icing down.

DOH! Just can't have nice things. This old machine is from the 70's and still going strong. I've decided it's invulnerable.
