I leave saturday at 6 when i get off work... at least i get to hunt sunday-tuesday

I,ve been at the ranch near Crystal City since last friday. Family is comming this friday.

Friday afternoon...but I've been hunting for a month already anyway.

get off work at 7 am in the morning and will be in camp with dinner on by 2 pm. waiting for the rest of the fellows to get down. isn't it the day before opening day when you are supposed to drink your' beer?

I was thinking that you get a pass on work, but the others? Golf? C'mon, lots of other weekends. Football games? Listen to it on the radio from the stand and sell the tickets. Girlfriend has class? She better understand the sacrifice of making you late and put out enough over the weekend to make it worth being late for deer camp...

Heading out Friday afternoon, be at the lease by 5, set up the camper, get the fire going, have a few beers, and get some sleep!

Just finished packing. I'll be on the job Friday morning at 7. Uncle will show up at 3 work till 3:30 drive a half mile to the lake start telling TRUE stories at 3:35 set up camp. Be finished with the steaks in time to go see whats moving before dark...And tell some more TRUE stories until bed time. I sure do miss my Dad wish he could be here with use. Ya'll be safe and have a good hunt. I'll be expecting to here from all ya'll Monday...<><

Not leaving until next Thursday... Went bowhunting a couple of weeks ago though. Hopefully it will be cooler week 2; the moon will be a little better for hunting if you buy in to that sort of thing.

Well it must be the flu aint any better, Low grade fever now and feel bad. Looks like I aint going this opening weekend. I dont think thats happened since 1984. Hope everyones safe and has a great hunt. One good thing is I bought some new york strips on sale at Wall Mart for 2.99 # Ill just unload them out of my ice cheast. The steaks are in a super sale flyer just tell you seen it. I dont know if its still going on.

I am leaving Wednesday and staying thru muledeer season 12/7. Gonna be a long weekend though.

Sat. morning at 4:30. About a 6 minute walk to the blind from my back door. Been here 6 yrs now and it's the first time to deer hunt on the place. Due to the economy and job situation in the last 7 months, there will be no S. Texas hunts this year. Dam that Bobo. Just another thing to lay at his feet. I don't care if he caused it or not, I'm gonna blame it on him.

Ill be heading out 7:00 night to east tx be there at camp maybe 9:30 drink some beers and go to bed wake up at 5:30 and lets rock.

Leaving next Wednesday... Opener is for amateurs, plus it is too hard to get up after Friday night...
