Good morning!!! My name is Bill Oxner. I'm new to this forum. I only shoot pointed bobwhite quail. I live in an acrage subdivision west of Houston. I have two pointers and a setter. I'm a member of NSTRA, and run my 2 year old female pointer in NSTRA trials. The other pointer and setter are retired two time NSTRA champions.
I'm 73 years old, and have hunted quail in over 80 Texas counties. I don't have a lease this year. I have a Johnny house across the road where I keep a few pen raised quail, and have access to a section where there are some wild birds. I hunt mostly from my Gator. I got my user name from the year that I hunted off a Kawasaki Mule.
Edit: I registered with the user name Mule Rider, but bill oxner shows up. That's fine with me.

Its great to have you!! My family are big bob white quail hunters and been for many many years!! We have about 8 or so pointers and they go out to the panhandle and west texas every weekend to hunt!! I cant wait to get back from Iraq and it wil be just in time for the last few weeks of season!!!

I feed Indian Corn, the deer really seem to like it and stay at the feeder longer......and longer....!
