If anyone has any information on this deer please go to http://oklahomabowhunter.com/ under "Ask The Game Warden", look for the thread "THE BP BUCK". Join and post here or send a PM to OGW 310. I believe he is involved in the investigation and will greatly appreciate any information on this case. Here is a picture of the deer for those of you not familiar with the story.

A friend of mine received this picture on his cell phone.....apparently the guy that killed the deer is a hunting buddy of my friend's friend. All of the known info has been given to the authorities. shouldn't be too long.

Deer was illegally taken with a firearm October 1st at night from the British Petroleum property just west of Wilburton, Oklahoma. The head was severed and the carcass left laying. This was a high profile deer that was seen regularly.

I just read an update on this case. The state has possession of the antlers and citations have been issued. The Oklahoma Wildlife Department has solved the case.

Here are a couple of pics from this case. Kenny Nixon and Jackie(sp?) Tackett were caught with this rack...and these 96, yes 96 others in Jackies attic!

Good I hope they throw the book at him or them. Don't hold your breath its Oklahoma.. Game laws aren't near what Texas' are but as the vaule of hunting up there keeps increasing I bet they change.
