I usually hunt lake texoma each year but with the low water it doesnt look to promising. I was just wondering how many people actually hunt up there.

I tell ya, with this low water I am going to sit this one out! Ducks need a rest anyway! I am sure they will pass over N Texas for the coast. If you do hunt, go down to the coastal marsh!

It just means that the west end of the lake will have more water filling the coves and creeks. The flats or marshy areas will have water too. The creeks that dump into Texoma will have more water in them to attract waterfowl that do not like the open waters of the lake. 617' is about normal level this time of the year. It has been 612' (5' low)lately.
