How can you scout benbrook land? Wouldnt some one who has already drawn be out there hunting? That is one thing that kept me from sending one in, Dont know the land and when would you be able to scout?

I was drawn about 3-4 years ago and every time I went out there, there were people either scouting for their upcoming hunt or there were beagle dogs being trained.

People do kill deer there, theres a guy on texasbowhunter that posted some pics awhile back of a nice buck and doe he took. You might try an hit him up, his handle is texas grown. He might help you out if he hasn't been drawn there this year, if he has he'll probably be tight lipped.

A buddy of mine hunted there a couple of years ago and saw a lot of deer including a really nice buck, but all he ever shot were doe. It's public land so you have to deal with others coming and going. Like most places, he had the most luck very early and right when it was getting dark.
