Well SD I do not know if you are a Christian or not. If so, I suggest praying that the Good Lord will guide you to where you are most needed. Trust him in all things. Let him know your wishes and ask him to help you find where you can serve the best. He will do for you what you need if you trust in him.

If you are not. I will pray he leads you to something that will help you become one. Either way you seem to be more than capable and I am sure that will come through. Good luck.

Well, my .02

Most corporations these days could care less what your resume says, They want REAL WORLD examples of what YOU have done to make your company better. Like this:

"Mr. Superduty, tell us about a time when you had to satisfy a very mad and upset customer who is threatening to quit buying from you". Be very specific, Who, What, When, How, Why,?

this takes all the bullst out of the answer. These type questions can stop an applicant in their tracks. I used to see panic on sales applicants faces when I would ask questions like these. They were written by Corporate to take all the "good old boy" BS out.

Good luck, you are awfully young to go through this, by following your posts on here, you are/were very well paid. You will do great.

Those questions make sense to me and are totally relevant. It forces the applicant to think quickly on their feet and uses a situation related to what you will be doing. Good point. Be ready for that question.

Be yourself. Being you has gotten you everything you have. Be proud of that and know that it will continue.

Keep grinding. Be grateful you are getting interviews. The interview requests I have had are from companies I would not want to be affiliated with.

I've never heard an interviewer say it's stressful. Maybe so for some. Interesting, if so. Never has been for me. But I've interviewed probably no more than 100 people.

This is important. Use this to your advantage in helping yourself relax. Relax, knowing you're not going to "blow" the interview because you don't need the change. You're simply exploring the potential of an opportunity. You don't need them but they "need" somebody.

THIS!

This is more of an opportunity for you to interview them about whether or not the job opportunity is the right fit for you. Use this to your advantage. Come prepared with questions. You know the drill & I’m sure you’ll kill it. up

I never was stressed but would have been a little uncomfortable to tell a candidate that I did not chose him or her to their face. I ended by telling them I would make my decision later.

Was trying to be kind and reassuring.

That said......
I have done many, many interviews and there is a certain amount of stress or what ever you want to call it, in having to go through soooo many candidates just to find one that you think is going to “fit”. In my experience it is about 20:1. There are so many idiots out there that just try to BS their way through an interview. I have even had some that their only goal is to be employed by my company.

Interviewing is like a box of chocolates. You never know what your gonna get. loser8

Funny thing about getting older:
Your eyesight starts getting weaker but your ability to
see through people's BS gets much better.
