All you tax dodgers need to download the form from Texas.gov and pay your Use Tax.

What I'm saying is that I disagree.

There is no tax due unless the item you are buying ships from Texas. Patriot is right.

From the comptroller.texas.gov

Do I owe tax on goods purchased via mail-order catalogs or online?

Yes. A seller who uses catalogs or the internet to sell goods is treated the same as any other seller of taxable items. If you purchase merchandise through a catalog or online from a seller located in Texas, you owe Texas sales tax on the purchase. If you purchase merchandise through a catalog or online from a seller located outside of Texas and use the taxable item in Texas, you owe Texas use tax on the purchase. An out-of-state mail-order company or an internet company may hold a Texas Sales and Use tax permit and collect Texas tax. If the out-of-state seller does not have a Texas permit or does not collect Texas use tax, use tax is due and payable by the purchaser.

I realize you're really adamant about proving your point, but there has to be a definition of "use", and then proof that the buyer "used" the item by that definition. Not because scottfromthebureau posted a link.

And don’t accidentally check the wrong box on the computer either. I’ve heard ATF will arrest you on the spot for that. smile

In deference to not upsetting customers, ATF waits until you leave the store before arresting you.

Team Bud’s has been around since at least 2011 when I bought my first firearm from them.

Interesting to see a couple of Liberals in this forum who resort to insults and personal attacks on people whom they do not agree with despite proof being posted. It's not surprising because you all do that, just interesting to see you in this group. Glad to see you two joining the hunting forum.

I'm not sure if you're serious or not, but I was kidding. Sorry it didn't come across between the combination of memes and sarcastic posts.

I went last night to pick up a Benelli M2 that I bought thru their customer service because they matched Dunn's online price. I was there for over an hour just to pick up an gun that was paid for and ready for pick up. The parking lot had a couple dozen cars on the north side of the building, none across the "creek" to the east and maybe a 1/2 dozen to the south. Everything in the Bargain Cave was at full retail price of online sellers. I'd be surprised if they are open in a year. What I did look at was over priced. The service was sub-par as well, the guy helping me asked me for my drivers license no less than 4 times.

I went to Cabela's in Allen a few weeks ago for the first time in forever and they were really nice, but I only went to the fishing/camping areas, not the guns.

I have worked in law enforcement for over 30 years. In that time I have treated even some of the most vile criminals with courtesy and respect. Certainly more courtesy and respect than I have received at Cabelas in Allen. If a person is in a customer service position but lacks customer service skills, it's time to move on.
