Yeah, right!!! New T3X Lite in 6.5CM. Bottom hole is first shot from bore sight. Moved the scope... Next 3 went into 0.139". So much for load development. I think I'll keep it...

Just google Tikka inaccurate or Tikka won't shoot and you'll read some stories of bad Tikkas -- they are not 100%. That said, that is one hell of a group!

I'm sure they're not 100%, but I'm 3 for 3 on them. I have friends that have them as well, and they all shoot bugholes. A lot of times the ones that won't shoot well are caused by that loose screw near the butt of the rifle...

I have had several different custom rifles with aftermarket actions, a trued Win 70 action, and a couple tried 700 actions. My current rifle was built on a Tikka action.... and it is by far my favorite action out of all of them. It’s not Bighorn nice, but damn it’s fine for less than half the cost. Plus no time in the machines getting it square. Hard to beat.

I’m not saying Tikka doesn’t build a bad one every now and then, but how many of those stories are people who don’t know how to shoot? Just because someone says a gun wont shoot doesn’t mean it won’t.

How is the recoil on that model in 6.5? I was just wondering since the gun is pretty light. I am looking for my 12yr old.

Been shooting tikka rifles long before most knew what they were. Have not had a bad one yet. My 695 3006, my first and favorite, has always been been a great shooter. Really liking my ctr in 308.

I am looking for my 12yr old. 6.5 recoil in general is pretty light, but the Tikka lite models are very, very light, which makes recoil heavier than on a mid-weight or heavy rifle. I would think recoil of any 6.5 would not be too bad though.

I have him shooting a Remington model 7 260 but that little thing kicks quite a bit. It and the Tkka are about the same weight but I think the shorter barrel has something to do with it. I was looking at buying him a Tikka or the Browning speed which comes with a brake.

If you reload, you can load down with 100-120 grain bullets which would make it a real [censored] cat. Not sure if anyone makes a "managed recoil" ammunition for the Creedmoor but I'm sure Chad can load up some.
