Cleric they will probably go west and head up to post across to Santa Rosa would be my guess. you could meet them at the TA truck stop on I-40 and 84 in Santa Rosa, usually decent fuel prices and a pretty good restaurant. Also parking by the pumps if you want to catch some zzz's waiting.. Just throwing that out there.

I am a bit road weary from a day trip out to Ozona last Tuesday (~700 miles), then to Albuquerque/Santa Fe and back last Thursday-Monday (2100 miles round trip) but I am getting excited about the elk hunt as it's been a number of years since I have been. Trailer is getting pretty close to ready, just need to flare the copper tubing to the rear heater and get a new fitting put on. It should be ready to roll. Have all my hunting stuff gathered up and still need to pack clothing. Unless there is a cold front that pushes thru, it might be shorts & t-shirt hunting weather...

It was nearly that kind of weather last year. Just be prepared for it all lol.
