The problem is we have all been bad mouthing ATN and we must now suffer, unless you belong to the select few who have been kissing !"£$ and then you get the latest version so you can carry on singing the praises of ATN.

I didn't have any issues with the buttons but I did with the adjusting screws. You may want to aim it correctly a drop some lock title own on them.
They will back completely out, when you go to adjust the beam, the front of the unit spins and the wires will break off the LED.
You are on the right track with the T50, the range on the ATN Ir 850 is severely limited. I used a UNV20IR and got much better range. Out to 250 yards or so. Just guessing on that, I didn't measure.

Same thing happened to me. They replaced it very quickly and I now keep it as a backup. Lots of Lock Tite on the new one.
If you are any good at soldering you can probably get the old one to work. I tried but my aging eyes won't cooperate.

I wish the ongoing delay and innumerable broken promises were amusing, but it is just not.

is there a place to download any of the betas they use, That wouldn't make any sense at all. Betas are for testing only and only go out to designated testers.

i understand how betas work, I have been testing for over 10 years. Most often its a win lose situation with features but it gives the end user a chance to give feedback in different situations and setups. Its near impossible for a company to replicate all user setups. So in general open betas yeild the best resutls

The BETAs aren't posted anywhere, you'll need to ask Sachal for it or pay someone who has it to send it to you. Add 3% for PayPal fees
