what is the green in the deer's ear? I think that's how they tag them.

I like to describe big mature bucks here in MN, as built ilke linebackers, because the develop a blocky look, that one's built like an NFL lineman.

Buddy of mine just shot a LF buck right here in Texas that weighed 225lbs and I thought that was huge!

Not uncommon to kill bucks in NW Texas that hit 230-250lbs..I killed one in Hardeman county that went 238 and was 6.5 years old..

Not uncommon to kill bucks in NW Texas that hit 230-250lbs..I killed one in Hardeman county that went 238 and was 6.5 years old.. I live in a big deer state, but even here in MN, bucks heavier than 250lbs field dressed are rare.
