274 lb buck

Anyone see this ? I wonder how long it is . I know its not huge by northern standards really but dang that a lot of meat there .

Big ol deer by any standards.

That's 274 pound field dressed! The sausage-making bill on that would be staggering!

I like to describe big mature bucks here in MN, as built ilke linebackers, because the develop a blocky look, that one's built like an NFL lineman.

Buddy of mine just shot a LF buck right here in Texas that weighed 225lbs and I thought that was huge!

That's a lot of meat in the freezer. The man got a good one for sure.

That is a huge Deer!!

Not uncommon to kill bucks in NW Texas that hit 230-250lbs..I killed one in Hardeman county that went 238 and was 6.5 years old..

I live in a big deer state, but even here in MN, bucks heavier than 250lbs field dressed are rare.
