Hows a 16 yo kid get the cash to do it?
How do you go from asuring everyone and swearing up and down that its a 200" deer to oh heck they F'ed me in a couple hours?

Whats up axismaster? after a day like that I wouldnt feel like a master of much.

Northeast Ohio. I didn't know he was 178 a big deer seems like a big deer to me. My dad said he wasn't thinking he was 200 when we first saw and felt funny but he told me this afterwards and said to forget that the deer scored 178 after he k we a week after.

a 178 is a big deer.

one of those bucks looks like a mid 150's to me.

Asuming can get you in trouble... looks like a kid I know from SA that would probably have the disposable income to do the hunts. I always think its weird when folks from the north get on the TEXAS hunting forum, thats why I didnt asume Ohio.

Don't worry about it! They're all nice deer and better than 99% of deer hunters will ever get. Your parents obviously have lots of money, and they don't care, I imagine, so why should you?

Well my dad wanted it to be cheaper and is blaming the owner. He said he should've paid around $3000. So much for my close by exotic and easily affordable whitetails now.

I don't get it because really this isn't the first time we've shot an animal that was not as big as expected. We paid 6k for a Thomsons that just barely made SCI that was supposedly 16-17 inches
