Me and my father are wanting to come down to texas and kill some hogs we plan on getting the 5 day hunting licience and don't want to spend a fortune on some big outfitter. Any suggestions on some cheap places to kill some hogs. We aren't after any world records just out to have some fun, put some meat in the freezer, and help the hog population a little.
Thanks for any ideas

When are you planning this trip?? I could set ya up real cheap, like less than $100 for the whole hunt and all the hogs yall can shoot, but it would be after deer seaon is over.

The first Sunday in Jan for us. After that, it's on for the hogs. I can PM you the details if you want.

I can always use some help shootin some pigs but it would also have to be after deer season. Our season is over at the end of february (MLD 3). No charge just cover my gas expenses. Dont really care how many you kill the more the merrier. Hate the damn things. We've got 2500 acres in east texas. We usually shoot around 40-50 of them a year. Last year we killed five over 250 pounds. dont know how big they were the scale stops at 250. Already killed 11 since oct 3rd.

Try COYOTECREEKRANCH near Detroit, TX. It is in Red River County (NorthCentral Texas). I have hunted there twice and recommend the place. Nothing real fancy- just good hunting, good food, good lodging, and EXCELLENT conversation. Donnie is a great guy that will not do you wrong. Give him a call.
