Inquiring minds want to know why they decided to go with dual plunger ejectors since it’s been mostly a failure in other rifles

True story.

I put a barrel on a Kauger Arms action last week. It came with two ejectors. When I reinstalled them, I only installed the spring on one of the ejectors. Two plunger ejectors only causes problems, not solutions.

I was curious if disabling one of them was possible so you can over come the pressure problem. But I suspect the reason Seekins made the change is due to the new Federal 7BC higher pressure in a less expansive case material

There was not a lot here for precision rifle, and bolt action building in general. I did get some value out of it, direct answers to questions and being able to put my hands on some things I dont run across often. I was already in town on other business, non firearm related, if I had not been, I probably would have left feeling like I wasted time.

There were a few things I saw and liked, the rest was just show and tell for Items we all already know about.

Hawkins new scope mount is really nice, and they also put some rubber bumps on the Hunter magazines to eliminate rattle. They had all their new self timing brakes on display, and offer a variety diameters to closer match thinner barrel contour.

GPO had a good setup, and I looked at several items. I was impressed with what they had. The range finding binos they are selling now are the ones that came out a couple of years ago. I asked of they were going to add ballistics to them and the answer was no. They did indicate that they were looking at bring production of them to the US, and are preparing how to navigate the possible upcoming tariffs.

Adjustable Bag Rider makes a very well machined product, if someone needs something like this, I dont think any knock off would ever be made as well.

Leupold had the full array of new stuff. Of you like Leupold, the new turrets are neat. I asked about improvements to the VX 6 series, particularly the erector. He said they upgraded them to the Mark V internals, thats where I left.

ADG brass had a good display, and their new annealer was there and working. Its a decent machine, but at $1825.00 street price, I would go with the AMP. The ADG had a few jambs feeding the cases, and It will require more tinkering to get it calibrated to brass if you dont have ADG brass which they can supply parameters for.maybe they can improve ito er the next few years. It is built by ARC in South Africa, and imported only by ADG. They also had a Remington 700 bolt body they are making with interchangeable bolt faces. You use your old fire control from a 700 bolt.

The 7mm Backcountry didnt seem to have as many looking at it as I thought. They had a display of the care forming process showing each step. After discussing with them and RCBS, I would be real surprised if this thing has reloadable cases for a while. I hot the impression they wanted it to be, but there are problems.

The Stacatto and Glock displays were bombarded by you tubers and their camera people, it was a chit show. I did look, and did not see a Glock Rifle, and never got to talk with the Stacatto people.

Manners new folding stock is legit, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy one if I needed it.

Berger has a 217gr EOL coming out in 30 cal later in the year.

Gunwerks has nice stocks, and their bipod seemed to be good as well.

Bering Optics new Yoter with LRF was pretty good IMO.there is a definate difference in resolution between it and the Hogster.

I probably forgot some things, but the long nights and lack of sleep is catching up.

Great summary...thanks and also thanks for confirming my suspicions. A buddy told me back in the day you could get some discounts committing to ordering x for the year but most of the manufacturers have quit doing that...that was sort of a killer for me going too.
