Have 4 blinds on our place, Don's waller (where dad fell in the mud), kettle stand ( when clearing brush to set it up we found a big old rusted out cast iron tea kettle, Hilltop (that one is probably self explanatory), and the Ringtail blind (my uncle got the crapola scared out him by a ringtail cat nesting in it).
Some days you're the pigeon, other days you are the statue!

The Ghost Stand
Only one we had that was named. The member was a guy that paid his $, never came one time. We never saw him, so we started referring to him as Ghost. Someone put a stand in his area, The Ghost Stand.

Had to wait for them to vacate but that blind was never the same.

We have a bunch of hang on stands, some are just numbers line #1, #2, #2-1/2 etc. Then we got creative, the Hump stand, Big Pine Tree, Tall Sweetgum, Rabbit's Stand, Lake Feeder, Second Oil Pad, Blue Oyster and the Halfway stand and other I can't remember.

I've hunted out of named stands, and some just by their location, many others just by the name of the guy who selected the location so Bob's or Rick's.
Some of the named ones.
Crows Nest (old wooden stand in three trees with brush hanging from the railings) North West Corner The Flats Second HIll Third Hill Rock Island Big Rock
I hunted one of my buddies properties that had stands named after guys that had been kicked off the property for various offenses.

ha, this brings back some fond memories of some of the blinds/stands over the past 60 years.
Bluebird ... 20+ feet tall to the floor, sketchy tower with a 4x4 box sitting on top of an outcrop of rocks, felt like you were 40+ feet up looking off the back side. Called Bluebird as the hunters jokingly said if you fall out, you are so high a blue bird could build a nest if your arse before you hit the ground.
Shakey's ... named after Shakey's pizza parlor ... 4 vertical 2x2s with wood grain paneling screwed to it, no structural integrity, in other words, shakey
Platform ... 8x8 platform built on an old leaning live oak tree that you had to kick the coon/fox/ringtail scat off every time you climbed up there to dangle your legs off the sides.
Brush pile ... hollowed out cedar tree with a metal chair
some others that are pretty generic but self explanatory ... bottom, xxx (person's name) hole, rocks, bluff, tank, creek, etc.

need some sort of way to refer to them. for many years on leases....the only blind i had was the one that i had in my designated location. there was no reason to name it because it was the only one i had to sit in. now on our own pace we have several blinds that are all community blinds shared among the family. need some way to know who is going where.
tank blind...at the tank. sleeping blind...because someone fell asleep in it. tower blind 4th blind...becuase it was the 4th one we put up and didn't have anything more creative at the time.

Some of y'all could use a creative naming consultant.

My favorite was "Sky Lab" which my Dad put an iron tractor seat way the heck up in a huge oak tree in the middle of an old grown up field. It sat comfortable but the climb up (he didn't really believe in nailing boards on for steps) was very tricky. Didn't really have to worry about others hunting it. They were not brave enough to climb and sit. I killed many fine deer out of that location
