I’m hunting around mckinney and Frisco during the week since it’s close to my house. Took the wife and buddy of mine out and it was horrible. Birds weren’t flying (2 days now) . I don’t know what happen. The day before I got my limit. Just checking to see if y’all are having any issues. And I’m worried what this front coming is gonna do. This wethers has been up and down too.

Any other hunters stories would be much appreciated!

We are hunting just North of you (between Gunter and Lake Ray Bob) and it was pretty good opening morning. I got 11 and my son got 6. I missed probably 10 shots up close that I normally would have had. Just chalked it up to being rusty. We went out on Friday and after I missed one landing in the mojo’s I looked down to find out I had a full choke in from a turkey hunt I had forgot about. hammer After a quick change to IC, I went 3 for 3. But those 4 birds were all that came within range. Seems like the birds either got shot out or just moved on. I’m hoping a cold front might bring some more in.

Saw a crap ton of teal though... probably 25-30 large groups.

Well I did better today. Morning hunt isn’t good for the field I’m in. 3-6 they are flying good I got 14 tonight. And lost one. Soon as I unloaded 2 came right at me I said f it got in the tuck and let lol. 2nd time this year I’ve gotten out early I’ll know more tomorrow if it’s 3-6 again I’m making a point to evening hunt only!

I hunted with DJ Farms yesterday and saw a few birds, but they were either to far to get a shot on or they were doing Mach II

Not seeing to many post here or book of faces.

Most folks I've talked with had a decent opener, but since the rain its been sparse.

Went out yesterday morning and saw 3 dove total. And that was driving in to my buddy's property.

We're supposed to get more rain next week. Maybe some birds will be in front of it.
