There are some folks on here who post phenomenal field photos-- curious as to who is taking their grip and grins with cell phone vs. camera and if guys are running a digital camera in camp and the field what are you running??
Full blown DSLR? Point and shoot? Or something between like a mirrorless or higher end point and shoot (RX100, etc)

I use a Canon SX60HS. Love it. I can zoom out to over 200 yards. The only limitation I have found is very low light it has a hard time auto focusing at longer distances.

Nikon P1000 for me. Hwyman got several people hooked on these. Crazy range for a single lense camera. Love mine.

You can do amazing things with the iPhone X and the filters and settings
For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

that is pretty phenomenal for a phone/bino! What binos do you have and are you running a specific adapter?

Leica 12x I believe. No adapter I just held the phone up to the lens and centered it (which takes some practice). I cropped a little to get rid of the edge of the binoculars but that’s it. Here is another, probably 175 yrds here.

I bought a Canon 20D DSLR back in 2003 and have added lenses/cameras thru the years. I now primarily use a Canon 7D and Canon 500mm IS lens with some pics using the 100-400mm IS lens. My equipment is from 10 to 16 yrs old now and would hate to replace it with the newer and better ones that are made today. It is all reaching the end of it life span from heavy use but hopefully will get me a few more years. It is an expensive hobby that I enjoy and still learning how to use the equipment the correct way. I take pictures in a style that I like that may not be correct, but I take them the way I like to view them.
Are idiots multiplying faster than normal people?

I'm still blown away by those bino pics... which iphone do you have? Im still running an SE bc I have a bad habit of busting up phones even in Otterboxes.
Pitchfork- is that the 'white doe' you posted? Very cool pics!
Anyone used a Sony RX100 or A6000??
Looking hard at these two because I think I could probably take em on my western hunts each year without too much of a size/weight penalty.
