Did you have all the same head stamp brass, i.e., all the exact same? FL sized brass and powder charge accurate to within .1 grains?

A good discussion that brings to mind the thought of all those who never realized what a great rifle they had until after they had sold and replaced it with something else.

Yes, I tried both Remington and Hornady brass, both FL and neck sized after being fired in the rifle. I use an RCBS Chargemaster 1500 and periodically verify against another scale. I use this same setup for all of my reloading so I don't think that's the problem.
Silver spurs and gold tequila keep me hanging on. Pretty girls and old cantinas give me shelter from the storm.

My current favorite and most forgiving rifle I hunt with 90% time is a frankenbuild AR in 6.5 grendel. Shoots sub MOA with everything I’ve put in it. My least favorite and sold off was a Ruger M77 7mm mag. Kicked like a mule and wouldn’t shoot anything MOA. FWIW I have a Remington 700 7mm mag I love shooting when not hunting with the 6.5G...
